So often, we get bogged down in the “doing” aspect of life - checking things off of a list, completing a task just to say that we did it, or worse, doing something because we feel obligated to. But what if we could focus more on who we are “being” in life? What if we showed up from a place of purpose, rather than obligation? A place of love, instead of fear? What if we were able to push past the overwhelm of life and greet challenges with clear understanding, patience, and a lack of self-doubt?
Through coaching, we can do just that. And through consulting, those internal changes can be reflected in your business as a whole.
ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
I use an ontological coaching method that focuses on your being - who you truly are at your best, what you want to create for your life, how you show up in the world, and the survival mechanisms that often get in the way of you accomplishing what you want. I mainly work with men who work in corporate settings, and I have clients from all over the country.
Each one-on-one coaching session is one hour long and we will meet three times per month. I require a minimum of a ten month contract to ensure that you receive the most that you can from our time together and have time to create true, meaningful change in your life.
Coaching, consulting, and therapy all have different functions. Below are brief descriptions of each to help you decide which one is right for you.
COACHING
The client is the expert, and we are simply providing them with the tools to discover their greatness and create what they want for themselves.
CONSULTING
The consultant is the expert and is giving the client their firm advice.
THERAPY
The therapist is the expert and is helping the client unpack past trauma that is preventing them from moving forward in their life.
Coaching may be right for you if you identify with any of the following situations:
You identify as being outwardly successful but inwardly unfulfilled
You find yourself working long hours and struggle to create a work-life balance
You feel pressure from all facets of your life - work, family, friends, and self - to be all things to all people
You struggle to understand and/or communicate what you’re feeling
You have trouble forming and maintaining close relationships (romantic or otherwise)
You often doubt your abilities or experience imposter syndrome and would like to work on your confidence and self-love
COUPLES COACHING
Couples coaching is for those who want to deepen their intimacy, better their communication, improve their sex life, and work towards their individual and joint goals. I specialize in working with couples that have at least one partner who identifies as a man.
Something doesn’t have to be “wrong” in order for you to seek support for your relationship. When working with couples, I like to remind them that the first step to making changes is to put down the idea that something is a “problem” or needs to be “fixed.” Instead, it is much more empowering and a lot less combative to relate to something as simply a gap - a space between where you and your partner are now and where you’d like to be.
I work with couples for a minimum of six months. This includes five, one-hour sessions per month - two individual sessions per person and one joint session per month.
Throughout our time together, we will work to understand each individual’s unique stories about the world and your relationship. We will discover how the individual’s self-limiting beliefs and patterns impact your relationship. Then, we will use that information to create a strong foundation as a unit. From there, we will work towards creating your future as a couple.
Couples coaching may be right for you if you identify with any of the following situations:
You find yourselves having the same or similar fights over and over again
You find it difficult to communicate what you are feeling and/or what your needs are with your partner
You struggle with understanding how to support your partner through difficult times
You sometimes feel like you and your partner are not aligned in how you do life and/or what you want for the future
You and your partner are navigating big transitions or are preparing to do so (e.g., buying a house, having kids, relocating, starting a business, etc.)
You don’t feel as connected to your partner as you once did
HYBRID: ONE-ON-ONE & GROUP COACHING/CONSULTING FOR BUSINESSES
This hybrid model provides a space for you and your team to work towards your goals, both individually and as a unit. While each person will receive less one-on-one time, each group member will benefit from hearing from and cultivating a better understanding of the others present. Additionally, if the group has collectively been struggling to move forward in a certain area, group coaching can be highly beneficial.
Group coaching is for:
Groups of 10 people or less (predominantly men) who work as a team in a work, organizational, or family environment (if your team is larger than 10, we will break your team up into groups)
Groups of people who struggle to communicate and move projects forward as a team but are committed to achieving their collective goal(s)
Potential clients will receive a complimentary intake phone call. Once we have determined that we’re a good fit, I will provide you with a proposal based on your company’s needs. From there, we will determine the number of and people who will receive one-on-one coaching in addition to group coaching. I generally recommend that the higher level managers and leadership receive one-on-one coaching with me through the duration of the contract.
Together, we will co-create your experience, working on a number of areas including but not limited to the following:
Tools for creating success and inner fulfillment both inside and outside of the workplace
Tools for dealing with conflict and/or issues in the workplace
Tools to overcome self-sabotage and facilitate leadership development
Tools for cultivating better mental and physical health
Tools for fostering better working and personal relationships
BREATHWORK
Breathwork is a powerful practice that involves manipulating your breath to achieve a deep meditative state. Breathwork is done in a variety of ways, but at its core, its purpose is to help you connect deeply to your body, mind, and spirit.
Some benefits of breathwork include:

Profound sense of calm
Reduction in anxiety
A deeper or renewed sense of connection to self, others, and a higher power
Increased self-awareness

PUBLIC SPEAKING
As a public speaker, I use my background in the fitness world, my experiences with hair loss and personal loss/grief, and my expertise in life coaching to deliver powerful, motivational talks to groups of people. I have brought my speaking and facilitation skills to a variety of teams and people, including lululemon athletica.
